Prep the Pan:
Use cooking spray to lightly grease or butter a 9x13 inch baking dish, then line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
Brown the Butter:
In a large, light-colored, heavy-bottomed pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir constantly with a silicone spatula.
Keep an eye on it, and soon you see brown bits forming at the bottom (typically within 5-8 minutes) that's the flavor we're after!

See the small brown bits start to form! I like using my Dutch oven because it’s a light-colored, heavy-bottomed pot.
Once the butter starts to brown, immediately lower the heat. Stir in the condensed milk, then remove the pot from the heat.
